SUNY New Paltz recognizes the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) who participated in the 13th annual Leaf Rake across the New Paltz community.

Following a 9-1 regular season, the Muhlenberg football team received an at-large berth to the NCAA Division III Championships. The Mules will play their first-round game at Delaware Valley on Saturday, November 17, at noon.

Ninety three SUNY Oneonta students from SUNY Oneonta's School of Economics and Business traveled to the Big Apple on Oct. 25 for the college's annual Backpacks to Briefcases alumni networking trip. Students visited 21 well-established alumni at their Manhattan offices and heard about their experiences going from students to top executives. The event is designed to inspire students to jumpstart their careers by beginning to build their professional networks. It is funded by the Oneonta Student Association and the SUNY Oneonta Alumni Association through charitable gifts to the Fund for Oneonta.

Hundreds of SUNY New Paltz student volunteers help community agencies on Make a Difference Day 2018

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus, located in Madison, NJ have been named to the Dean's and Honors Lists for the Spring 2018 semester.

The following local residents were among the students who graduated from SUNY Oneonta following the spring 2018 semester. The college's commencement ceremony was held on Saturday, May 12.

The HTC Honors College and Center for Interdisciplinary Studies was established at Coastal Carolina University on Oct. 12, and the 700 students who had been accepted into the University's honors program are now the first students housed in the new college. The HTC Honors College and Center for Interdisciplinary Studies will feature many new initiatives and a revised curriculum. It will support students who have ties to majors and departments across campus: from honors students to interdisciplinary studies students, who build their own, innovative academic majors. In addition, the college will continue to support and advise undeclared first-year students as they select and transition into their major.

Wesleyan welcomed 806 new students in the Class of 2022 to campus on August 29.

Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80.

A total of 1,445 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2018 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

A total of 222 SUNY Oneonta students earned Provost's List honors for the spring 2018 semester. To qualify for the Provost's List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

More than 500 Monroe College students were named to the President's List for the Spring 2017 semester. At Monroe, the President's List is comprised of full-time students who have completed and excelled in their coursework, earning a grade point average of 3.80 or above over the course of the semester.
